Clinics Demos & Symposiums

Riding Clinics

Riding clinics vary in duration and subject matter depending on the specific needs and goals of the participants (see section on specialized clinics below). These clinics are a compliment to any training program. The objective of each clinic is help riders optimize and refine the performance, relationship and experience they have with their horse. The key element to forming an effective partnership with your horse is clear communication. Once established, you will be astounded at what the two of you can accomplish.

During the first part of each clinic session, Amber will work directly with individuals and their horses, explaining and demonstrating ground work exercises that will increase their horses focus, improve responsiveness, confidence and control. These ground work techniques include exercises in nose, shoulder and hip control, all the tools which are necessary to the development of a solid training foundation. Once mastered, these techniques will transfer directly to the saddle resulting in a softer, more willing partner. The next part of each session with focus training techniques specific to the clinic topic selected.
Whether you’re a seasoned trainer or beginner rider, all levels and disciplines will benefit from these fun and informative sessions.
Requirements to host: Round-pen or arena may be needed depending on topic selected.
Symposium/Demo

- Much like the riding clinic, the techniques and exercises demonstrated are simple to understand yet remarkably effective. Bring a chair and a notepad. Topics will vary depending on the needs of the host and interest of the attendees. Amber will demonstrate various exercises and techniques that will transform your horse. Whether you are struggling with a specific “problem” or just want to learn new techniques and

strategies to take your trained horse to the next level, these sessions will help you get quick results. Symposiums and demos are set up to be approximately 2 hours in duration and can be hosted at any ranch.
Requirements to host: Round-pen or arena may be needed depending on topic selected.
