Riders of all disciplines and levels are welcome. Beginners will learn the basics starting with grooming, nutrition, and general care of the horse. They will also gain a deeper understanding of the horses mentality and underlying reasons why they do the things they do. They will experience what a soft, supple, willing partner feels like. More advanced riders will work on exercises that focus the horse and will allow the rider to gain full control of the horses body. A focused horse will respond to your cues and commands. Once the advanced riding techniques are mastered, control of the horse will appear smooth and effortless. |

Lessons can range from 45min to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the difficulty of the subject matter being worked on. Remember, PATIENCE + PARTNERSHIP = PERFORMANCE. |
Leasing a horse is a great way experience
horse ownership without a full time care or financial commitment.
If you are considering buying a horse but are unsure of
exactly what it will take, this is a great option. It is
also a great way to get in extra riding time outside of
you set riding lesson days. There are two leasing options
full (6 days a week) or half (3 days a week). On
the days that you commit to leasing a horse, you are responsible
for providing exercise (turn out or riding) and general
care (farrier, grooming, supplements, blanketing). All veterinary
costs are the responsibility of the owner unless otherwise
agreed upon.
Purchasing a horse is a huge financial
and emotional commitment. This session is designed to help
reduce the stress involved in making your final purchase
decision. We will begin with examining and evaluating your
riding level, needs and expectations to determining which
type of horse (breed, age, size, training background) is
best suited for you. Prospective horses are ridden to assess
their training level, temperament, personality, agility,
and overall health and performance ability. A second expert
opinion is a must for the first time horse owner/buyer.
As a show coach, Amber will be present
at the show site to provide you with on the spot showmanship
and equitation tips. The fee includes rail coaching in all
active classes. The majority of shows we attend are one
day local shows. The fee is contingent on the location and
duration of the show. Trailering may be available for an
added fee.
