Day One — Obstacle Illusion Clinic

Work with Tony and Amber to uncover what’s really happening at the obstacle — not just “getting through it.”

You’ll learn how to:

  • Read your own body and notice early signs of dysregulation

  • Stay present instead of reacting from the past or future

  • Dismantle limiting stories about your horse’s behavior

  • Do the work for yourself first at each obstacle

  • Finish with groundwork on boundaries, timing, and handling skills that transfer to the saddle

Day Two — Private Sessions with Amber

A full day of one-on-one time, tailored just for you. Bring your horse or work with one of Amber’s.

Obstacle Illusion Clinic Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Clinic, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • Payment is required in full to secure your spot.

  • No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the clinic start date (June 28, 2025).

  • If you are unable to attend and notify us before the 7-day window, a refund (minus a $50 processing fee) may be issued or your payment can be credited toward a future event.

2. Release of Liability

  • Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating.

  • By attending, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with horses and agree to release Amber Lydic, her associates, and the event facility from any liability for injury, loss, or damage.

3. Horse Health & Safety Requirements

  • All horses must be sound, in good health, and up to date on vaccinations.

  • Please do not bring any horse exhibiting signs of illness or lameness.

  • If your horse exhibits dangerous behaviors, prior approval from Amber is required.

    • Please call (408) 656-0563 to discuss before registering.

  • Stall use is optional and requires an additional $20 fee.

4. Participant Conduct

  • This is a respectful, inclusive space for all disciplines and experience levels.

  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal from the clinic without refund.

5. Photo & Media Release

  • By attending, you grant permission for photos or video of the clinic (including you and your horse) to be used for promotional or educational purposes.
