The Art of Holding

The Conversation Before the Cue

There’s a moment before every cue.
Before touch.
Before movement.
Before words.

A moment where everything listens.

Your horse feels it first.
So do you.

It’s the space between pressure and presence.
Between control and connection.
Between what you think you’re showing, and what you’re actually holding.

This is The Art of Holding.
The ability to stay with yourself when everything around you begins to move.

✨ What You’ll Step Into

This experience begins the moment you join.
You’ll receive a guided meditation journey that brings you into your body and helps you uncover your true desire — the one your horse already senses.

You’ll enter a private Facebook space, where we slow down, breathe, and prepare for what’s next.

Inside, we gather for two live sessions that gently open the work:

→ Awakening Desire Through the Body → November 7 at 11 AM PST
→ Meeting the Resistance → November 11 at 11 AM PST

Then we meet for the 90-minute live workshop:
The Art of Holding: The Conversation Before the Cue

Meet Your Guide

Amber Lydic

Amber is a horse trainer, somatic coach, and intuitive guide. She helps people deepen their connection with their horses by understanding their own nervous system, energy, and patterns. Her work blends practical experience with intuitive insight to create trust, clarity, and presence for both horse and human.

Before working with Amber, I felt emotionally stuck in my life and questioned my worth. It was surprising to me how much this affected my relationship with my horse and how quickly, with the tools Amber gave me, I was able to completely change my feelings about myself, my life, and my outlook, as well as my relationship with my horse. She is a life coach who draws out the best in ourselves and helps create a strong bond with your horse.

Attending Amber’s clinic with my horse Galileo was a transformative experience, not just for my horsemanship, but for myself. What struck me most was how Amber connected the physical obstacles and “scary objects” with the invisible obstacles we create in our own minds—the stories we tell ourselves to stay safe, even when those stories keep us small and stuck.

Through her guidance, I learned how to recognize when both my horse and I were in a heightened state and, more importantly, how to down-regulate and return to calm. Amber has a unique gift for showing us that being our horse’s fearless leader isn’t about suppressing fear, but about facing it with curiosity, compassion, and grounded presence.

With Galileo, I experienced firsthand how shifting my inner state changed his response—he no longer looked to me with worry, but with trust. That is the magic of Amber’s teaching: she reminds us that true leadership is calm, connected, and brave. I walked away from her clinic not only more confident with my horse, but more confident in myself.

Amber doesn’t just teach horsemanship—she teaches us how to embody courage so that our horses can, too.
