She is the one organizing and hosting the clinic. Heather contact: Message through FaceBook What This Conversation Covered This was a real conversation about what is actually happening in the horse-human relationship. Why so many people leave clinics overwhelmed. Why horses “change” for a weekend and then slide back. Why riders are anxious while trying to learn. Why nervous systems and body patterns matter more than chasing exercises. Why bouncing from method to method leaves both you and your horse confused. And why this 5 for 5 format exists. The Structure Five people. Five days. One pair at a time with Heather and the horse. Mornings begin on the mat with Katherine. Days unfold with individual horse work. Evenings close with integration and nervous system work. It is flexible on purpose. No rigid time blocks for horses. No forcing progress to fit a clock. No one size fits all format. Each participant can be working on something completely different. That is the point. The Three Roles Heather Kornemann Vaquero horsewoman. Focused on clarity, confidence, and contact. She looks at the whole picture. Feet, saddle fit, posture, compensation patterns, emotional attachment, bridle readiness, all of it. Her focus is helping five people deeply, not performing for a crowd. Katherine Lowry Human movement specialist and equestrian coach. Morning sessions focus on breath, pelvic alignment, planes of motion, and foundational body awareness. Participants receive structured progressions and recordings they can continue using after the clinic. If all someone can do for five days is breathe and reconnect to their diaphragm, that is still progress. Amber Lydic Nervous system and story work within the horse-human relationship. She supports participants in recognizing internal brace, emotional attachment, and unconscious patterns. She will be there helping people process what comes up in real time as they witness their horses being worked, and guiding end of day integration. This is not about breaking people down. It is about helping them see clearly. Logistics Location: Benicia, California (East Bay Area) June Dates: June 10 through June 14 March Option: March 18 through March 22 March is weather dependent. A Core Theme That Came Up Stop bouncing between methods. If something is working, you should know why it is working. If something is not working, you should know why it is not working. The goal is discernment. Not rigid allegiance. Not weekly identity changes. Just clarity. When you have that, you stop feeling overwhelmed by the noise in horse land. If you watched the replay and something stirred, follow that. If you have questions, ask us. And if you are just quietly thinking about it, that is fine too. Thank you for hanging out with us!!
